KUKU PAPER JEWELLERY IS HERE!!!!

KUKU PAPER JEWELLERY HAS ARRIVED! Once again, we had to cheat on Kenya a little and purchase these magnificent pieces of art from some amazing Ugandan Women. Paper jewellery originated in the Refugee Camps of Northern Uganda. Over the past 3 years (06-09) we've watched them overtake the Kenyan boarders and make their way into Kenya's tourist markets by the thousands! Hey, when somethings good, it's GOOD! Ugandan ladies support their families through paper bead projects and KUKU HUT LOVES IT! Ladies, you rock! July 1st (Canada Day!) was the first day that KUKU HUT unleashed it's paper jewellery and it's already selling like mad. Get out today and make a purchase - support KUKU HUT, but more importanty these talented Ugandan ladies before we run out of stock!! The more you buy, the more we buy, from THEM!!!!!!

PAPER JEWELLERY BONANZA!!!!

We've kept our paper jewellery a secret until now. But look out! On Canada day we'll be celebrating with you through our PAPER JEWELLERY BONANZA! At the Kagawong store as well as in Gore Bay (main street 'yardsale') you can find tons of this amazing stuff. Our paper necklaces are made from, you guessed it, PAPER (Now how did you know?)!

African women work with colourful recycled paper that they collect from absolutely anywhere in order to create beautiful paper beads. The beads are then assembled creating an amazing, finished product. You really won't even believe it's paper! Buy paper jewellery - support the environment as well as the women who make them.
